Parenting Through the Recruiting Process

The IWLCA welcomed Team USA and WPLL teammates Taylor Cummings & Kylie Ohlmiller, and their families, for a town hall discussion about the highs (and lows) of lacrosse parenting! This is a great watch for all of those families going through the recruiting process right now. The Cummings talk about the "burnout factor" while Mrs. Ohlmiller discusses supporting her daughter even when they "often butted heads," something familiar to most families! They discuss what they felt was helpful for the daughters, how they managed very different siblings in the process, and how they managed their own stress.   This webinar is a great resource for al families out there! Recorded May 26, 2020.

IWLCA Town Hall for Club & High School Coaches - April

Amidst the growing concerns and happenings surrounding COVID in March and April 2020, the IWLCA leaders and college coaches from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III and NAIA schools came together for this first ever Town Hall. Coaches discussed thoughts regarding the 2020 recruiting landscape, the impact of the NCAA spring athlete eligibility decision on team rosters, and other issues currently relevant to the lacrosse community.  Recorded April 26, 2020
