Le Moyne Ranked #1 in Division II Coaches Poll

2019 IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll – February 25, 2019

 

Le Moyne College (0-0) tops the first regular season IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll with 21 first place votes. The Dolphins will open the 2019 campaign this weekend when they welcome the eleventh ranked University of Indianapolis Greyhounds (2-0) to town. Adelphi (2-0) holds strong in the number two position after picking up wins against #15 Florida Tech (1-2) and #3 Florida Southern (1-1) on the road. Lindenwood (3-0) and West Chester (1-0) round out the top five in this week’s poll. Tampa (3-1) was this week’s big mover, jumping from #19 into a tie for #11 on the strength of a 20-11 win over Limestone (3-1).

There are several top-25 games on tap this week, including a matchup between #10 Mercy and #20 New Haven on Wednesday. The weekend’s action features #7 East Stroudsburg at Adelphi, LIU Post (#6) at #24 Bentley, Tampa at #9 Regis, and #22 Tiffin at Mercyhurst (#17).
