Fort Lewis College, Assistant Coach (P/T)

Fort Lewis College Women’s Lacrosse is seeking an assistant coach/offensive coordinator for the 2018-2019 season. We are an NCAA Div. II program, competing in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC), and located in the beautiful mountains of Durango. CO. 

 

This is a part-time position that requires working night and weekends, as well as extensive travel during the spring season; however, it does offer benefits during the period of employment (Aug-May).

The job responsibilities include but are not limited to, coaching during practices/individual skill sessions and games, overseeing student-athlete academic success, video breakdown, scouting reports, assisting with fundraising, recruiting, and various other responsibilities.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and four years of collegiate playing or coaching experience at the NCAA level, along with strong organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of attack/offense, a passion for developing player’s individual skills, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude.
