The 2018 IWLCA JUNK Brands Midwest Cup was held at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Loves Park, IL this weekend. The regional tournament drew 72 teams comprised of high-school aged prospective student-athletes and their families to the area in its third year. Over 1,200 players competed in front of more than 130 college coaches representing all three NCAA Divisions and the NAIA.

The teams played 165 total games across 11 fields and utilized 34 women’s lacrosse umpires to cover the games.

Next up on the IWLCA Recruiting Tournament calendar is the STX Capital Cup, which will be held at River City Sportsplex, and the Clover Hill Athletic Complex in the Chesterfield County, VA area from July 20-22, 2018.
