2018 IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll – April 30, 2018
Adelphi University (16-1) collected 20 of 25 first-place votes to secure their spot at the top of the Division II Coaches Poll. Lindenwood (17-0) remained in second, Florida Southern (19-1) moved up to third, Le Moyne (16-1) dropped to fourth, and Florida Tech (15-1) stayed in the fifth spot to round out the top five. West Chester (17-0) bumped into the number six position, Rollins (14-4) is seventh, Limestone (16-2) sits in eighth, LIU Post (12-5) fell to nine, and Mercy (13-3) is the number ten team. The only new entry to the poll this week is Slippery Rock (13-4), who debuts in a tie for #25. Lake Erie (13-2) and Mount Olive (14-5) are receiving votes.
Top-25 action this week is courtesy of several conference tournaments. Slippery Rock (#T-25) and #22 Lock Haven will meet in the PSAC first-round on Tuesday, with the winner scheduled to play #6 West Chester on Friday. #14 East Stroudsburg could potentially face Mercyhurst (#21) in the semi-finals. The NE-10 Quarterfinals will pit #16 Merrimack against #19 New Haven and #15 Pace against #20 Bentley, while top ranked Adelphi and #4 Le Moyne could potentially meet in the Championship on Sunday. The East Coast Conference Championship on Saturday could potentially feature a battle between #9 LIU Post and #10 Mercy, and odds are that #2 Lindenwood and #11 Regis will meet in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday.

The 2018 Coaches Poll has been expanded to include 25 teams in all three NCAA Divisions this year in order to more accurately reflect the growth of the game at the collegiate level in recent years. The Coaches Polls are published every Monday during the regular season.
