Offensive Player of the Week
Darby Kiernan – University of Colorado
Kiernan led the Buffs with 12 points in a pair of big wins last weekend to help the team improve to 8-1 and clinch at least a share of the Pac-12 title. In an 11-10 overtime thriller against Stanford, Kiernan led both teams with eight draw controls and added two goals. She had a career-day on Sunday against California with 10 points to set a CU single-game record. She scored seven goals, which tied a CU single game record, and added three assists. She also set the CU career assist record in the game, passing the former record of 64; she currently has 67. Kiernan was 4-7 from the free-position and eight of her 10 shots were on goal against the Bears.
Defensive Player of the Week
Olivia Conti – Towson University
Sophomore Olivia Conti led Towson to a 2-0 week on the road, with victories at Elon (10-4) and William & Mary (17-5). She totaled seven caused turnovers, five ground balls and six draw controls. She posted a season-high five caused turnovers and two ground balls at Elon before adding two caused turnovers, three ground balls and five draw controls at William & Mary.
Offensive Player of the Week
Allison Hurley – Lindenwood University
Hurley totaled a team-leading ten goals and nine assists to help extend the Lions' winning streak to 15 games. Hurley began the week with two goals and four assists in Lindenwood's 15-13 triumph over #12 Grand Valley State. The senior attacker poured in four goals and two assists against UCCS, and became Lindenwood's all-time leader in points with 234. Two days later at #11 Regis, she tallied four goals while dishing out four assists for an eight-point performance.
Defensive Player of the Week
Brianna DeMilia – Grand Valley State University
For the second time this season, DeMilia set the new single-game record for saves in Laker history. She stopped 19 shots, while also scooping four ground balls, at # 2 Lindenwood last to break her previous mark of 17 set earlier this year. She added three saves at # 15 Indianapolis Friday before a 10-save performance on Sunday in a win over McKendree.
Offensive Player of the Week
Hannah Hirschfeld – Bowdoin College
Hirschfeld led the Polar Bears to a pair of NESCAC wins last week. She scored once and assisted on the late go-ahead goal against Colby in a 12-11 win. Against Wesleyan, Hirschfeld sparked a Polar Bear comeback to win 13-11. Trailing by four goals with under 20 minutes to play, she scored all five of her goals in the second half, including the game-winner. She finished the game with five goals, three assists and a caused turnover.
Defensive Player of the Week
Nicole Clauter – York College
York junior defender Nicole Clauter earned CAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades for the third time this year after totaling 27 draw controls, nine ground balls and five caused turnovers in a 2-0 week for the Spartans. Clauter opened the week with a school-record 14 draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers in a road win at St. Mary's. She followed that with 13 draw controls, five ground balls and three caused turnovers in a victory over Christopher Newport. Clauter leads the CAC in draw controls this season with 74.
