2018 IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll – April 9, 2018

We have a new number one this week, as Adelphi University (11-1) takes over the top position in the Division II Coaches Poll with nine first place votes. Lindenwood (12-0) and Le Moyne (11-0) move into second and third in the poll, and Florida Southern (13-1) falls to fourth after an 11-10 loss to Rollins (12-3) last week. Florida Tech (12-1) remains locked in the fifth position, and Rollins rises two spots to land at six. LIU Post (8-3), Limestone (12-2), Mercy (10-1), and Pace (8-3) round out the top-10 and the remainder of the poll remains largely unchanged.

There are only two Top-25 weekday games to watch, as #2 Lindenwood hosts #13 Grand Valley State on Monday, and #20 Bentley welcomes Adelphi (#1) to campus on Tuesday. The weekend’s notable games include: #10 Pace at Bentley, Merrimack (#14) at #3 Le Moyne, #9 Mercy at LIU Post (#7), Tiffin (#25) at #15 Indianapolis, and #2 Lindenwood at #12 Regis.

The 2018 Coaches Poll has been expanded to include 25 teams in all three NCAA Divisions this year in order to more accurately reflect the growth of the game at the collegiate level in recent years. The Coaches Polls are published every Monday during the regular season.
