2018 IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll – March 12, 2018
The unanimous number one in this week’s IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll is Gettysburg (4-0). The Bullets are followed by the same group of teams as last week: The College of New Jersey (4-0) sits in second, Trinity (2-0) holds the third spot, and Middlebury (3-0) and Salisbury (5-0) stay put at numbers four and five. Mary Washington moved to 7-0 and gained a spot to take over the #6 position. Ithaca (3-0) and Franklin & Marshall (3-2) also moved up one spot each, while York dropped to #9 and Tufts (2-0) makes their first appearance in the top ten this season.
Some of this week’s intriguing top-25 matchups this week include #21 Geneseo against #17 Hamilton and Ithaca (#7) against #3 Trinity in neutral site games on Tuesday. Wesleyan (#18) travels to #2 TCNJ on Wednesday, while #19 Catholic visits Cortland (#16) the same day. Hamilton and #20 Bowdoin play in Florida, and top-ranked Gettysburg visits #6 Mary Washington on Thursday. Key games over the weekend include Colby (T-14) versus #10 Tufts, and Middlebury (#4) against Wesleyan.

The 2018 Coaches Poll has been expanded to include 25 teams in all three NCAA Divisions this year in order to more accurately reflect the growth of the game at the collegiate level in recent years. The Coaches Polls are published every Monday during the regular season.
