Lincoln Memorial University Women’s Lacrosse is seeking to a hire a graduate assistant lacrosse coach beginning August 2018. The Graduate Assistant Coach shall aid in the growth and development of the women’s lacrosse program by assisting with planning and directing activities of the team. This position offers tuition for the MBA or MSCJ programs, housing, and a 50 meals a semester meal plan.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach in the recruitment of student-athletes, practice and game day duties, and assisting the head coach in all other aspects of the program.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of rules and regulations of the NCAA and South Atlantic Conference, CPR certified, ability to work effectively with the athletic department personnel and student-athletes. Previous playing and/or coaching experience, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
Qualifications: Candidate must be interested in pursuing coaching as a profession. Bachelor’s degree required; Successful admission to the Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in Criminal Justice graduate programs of the University; maintenance of satisfactory progress toward a graduate degree; letter of assignment as a graduate assistant signed by the President of the University.
