2017 IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll – March 27, 2017

Maryland (9-0) collected all 20 first place votes again this week to retain their spot at the top of the IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll. Colorado (10-0), the only other undefeated team in Division I, and Stony Brook (8-1), both moved up two spots, landing at numbers 4 and 5, respectively. Penn State (10-1) and Virginia (6-4) were the biggest movers this week, each climbing four spots into the #6 and #15 positions. North Carolina (#2) and Florida (#3) held their positions in the top five, while Syracuse (8-3) dropped to tenth.

This week’s top twenty action heats up on Tuesday when North Carolina (9-1) pays a visit to Virginia Tech (#17). Wednesday’s games include Elon (#18) hosting #20 Duke, #10 Syracuse at Princeton (#7), and a big game between Florida (#3) and Maryland (#1) in College Park. Northwestern (#16) welcomes Duke (#20) to town on Thursday, and Stony Brook plays host to Colorado in a top five battle on Friday. This weekend’s action features Syracuse at Duke, and Penn (#11) at Northwestern.
