The Panthers of Adelphi moved back into the No. 1 spot, but three teams snared a first-place vote this week in the rankings for Week 9. The Rollins Tars, the only undefeated team in Division II, moved up to a program-high No. 2 as well as the first votes for the top ranking in program history. LeMoyne, the top-ranked team over the last three weeks, fell to No. 4 but still picked up four first-place votes, keeping the schools bunched at the top. The NE-10 continues to lead all conferences as the league has seven ranked teams, starting with No. 1 Adelphi. LeMoyne sits at No. 4, while New Haven (No. 6) and Stonehill (No. 7) both hold steady; Bentley rounds out the top-10 at No. 10. Merrimack remains at No. 12 and St. Anselm stays at No. 13. The PSAC has three ranked schools, with West Chester moving up to No. 8 and Lock Haven rising to No. 9. Gannon remains in the rankings for a second consecutive week, moving up to No. 14. The ECC claims two teams in the top 15; C. W. Post remains at No. 5 and Dowling just misses the top 10 at No. 11. Limestone from the Conference Carolinas moves up No. 4. The two Florida schools remain in the poll, with Rollins rising to No. 2 and Florida Southern holding at No. 14. On Tuesday, top-ranked Adelphi travels to face No. 6 New Haven, No. 5 C. W. Post goes on the road to take on No. 8 West Chester, and No. 13 St. Anselm hosts No. 10 Bentley. On Saturday, three more games between ranked teams are on the slate, starting with the top-ranked Panthers hosting No. 5 C. W. Post. No. 6 New Haven welcomes No. 13 St. Anselm and No. 4 LeMoyne takes on No. 7 Stonehill in New York.
