Tar Heels Stay No. 1 as Regular Season Nears End

The unbeaten North Carolina Tar Heels hold steady at No. 1 in the Week 10 IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll after adding two more wins to their record with dominant performances over East Carolina and California Berkeley. UNC will wrap up its regular season this Thursday with a showdown at No. 10 Duke (12-3) inside Koskinen Stadium.

Boston College (14-1, 7-1 ACC) remains at No. 2 following a commanding 24-11 victory over No. 11 Virginia. The Eagles will close out their regular season on the road against No. 14 Syracuse this Thursday.

Northwestern and Florida maintain their spots at No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, while Princeton rounds out the Top 5.

In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
