Top 5 Remain Unchanged, Mary Washington Joins DIII Coaches Poll Rankings
Middlebury extends its reign at No. 1 for a seventh consecutive week in the IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll. The undefeated 8-0 Panthers are set for back-to-back NESCAC matchups this weekend, facing Wesleyan University on Saturday and Hamilton College at noon on Sunday.
The unbeaten Tufts Jumbos remain at No. 2 after securing victories over No. 11 Washington and Lee and No. 24 Christopher Newport this past week.
Franklin & Marshall, Gettysburg, and Colby round out the Top 5.
Mary Washington enters the Top 25 following a perfect 3-0 week, which included a win over No. 17 Denison.
In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
