Tampa Stays No. 1 in Week 5; Embry-Riddle and Slippery Rock Break into Top 10 and Top 25, Respectively

Tampa remains the dominant force at the top of the Division II rankings, holding onto the No. 1 spot after Week 5. The Spartans stay perfect at 6-0 overall, with upcoming matchups against IUP and Mercy this week.

Pace retains its No. 2 ranking, while West Chester and Florida Southern swap positions in this week’s poll.

Embry-Riddle makes its first appearance in the Top 10, jumping to No. 9 after a 17-12 victory over No. 15 Flagler last Wednesday.

For the first time this season, Slippery Rock enters the Top 25 at No. 21 following a decisive 12-6 win over No. 9 East Stroudsburg.

In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
