BC Keeps Control, Week 5 Highlighted by Shifts in Top 10

Boston College remains at the top of the IWLCA Coaches Poll for Week 5, holding onto the No. 1 spot.

North Carolina, Northwestern, and Yale maintain their positions at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4, respectively, while Maryland jumps into the Top 5 following a dominant 11-5 victory over No. 13 James Madison.

Clemson falls to No. 9 after a tough loss to No. 13 Duke on Friday night. The Blue Devils' thrilling fourth-quarter comeback moves them up to No. 13 in this week's rankings.

Syracuse makes a return to the Top 10, securing the No. 8 spot after a dramatic 14-13 double-overtime win over No. 7 Stanford.

In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
