Boston College Stays on Top, Clemson and James Madison Climb in Latest DI Rankings
Boston College remains at No. 1, extending its win streak to six games after defeating Virginia Tech this past Saturday.
North Carolina, Northwestern, Yale, and Michigan complete the Top 5.
Clemson made a notable leap in the rankings after defeating No. 6 Syracuse by one goal on Saturday. This marks Clemson's second consecutive ACC upset, both on the road, as the Tigers rise to No. 6 from No. 14 in last week's poll.
James Madison also saw a significant jump following a one-goal upset victory over No. 5 Florida. The loss drops Florida to No. 9, while JMU climbs to No. 13.
In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
