Spartans Retain Top Spot as Top 25 Sees Movement

Tampa holds onto the No. 1 spot for a third straight week in the IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll. The Spartans showcased a dominating performance against No. 3 Adelphi this past Saturday, defeating the Panthers 20-6.

Florida Southern climbs the charts, securing No. 3 after a 17-12 victory over No. 8 Saint Leo on last Tuesday.

Maryville enters the Top 5 following a 16-9 win over No. 6 Regis (CO).

Other notable shifts include Lynn cracking the Top 10 after defeating No. 11 Flagler, Seton Hill moving up to 18th with a win over No. 16 Wingate, and Alabama Huntsville making its first appearance in the Top 25 this season.

In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—representing college coaches from across the nation—reflecting on the latest developments in women's lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
