East Carolina University seeks a full-time Director of Operations for Women's Lacrosse. 

Organizational Unit Overview:

Job Duties:

Reporting to the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, this position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Travel Planning:

  • Secure hotel, buses, flight plans, and meals.
  • Prepare season travel schedule with head coach and communicate to student development.
  • Secure practice facilities and coordinate travel party with head coach.
  • Handle travel money, meal per diems, and home/away game ticket allotment.

Practice Coordinator:

  • Communicate with athletic operations practice times and needs.

Scheduling:

  • Work with head coach to secure all opponents contracts and verify times and dates for game schedule.
  • Establish pre-game schedule for home games and communicate to game management.
  • Secure pre-game schedule for all away games and communicate with head coach.

Compliance:

  • Have knowledge of NCAA rules and communicate with compliance office.
  • Responsible for all compliance forms for travel.
  • Responsible for working with lacrosse staff on all aspects of ACS software system.

Home Game Meals:

  • Set up all home game, spring break, and after classes are out meals for team.
  • Administer meal per diem for spring break or after classes are out.

Team Functions:

  • Organize with head coach any team dinners.
  • Coordinate community service with student development/head coach. Keep record of individual and team hours for community service.
  • Assist head coach in planning senior day, parents’ day, etc.

Video Coordinator:

  • Responsible for coordinating video for all practices, home, and away contest.
  • Supervise managers for video production.
  • Use Hudl for practice and game film to upload to League exchange and team page.

Teamworks:

  • Keeping team calendar
  • Record team travel details
  • Build quality relationships and work collaboratively and professionally with Pirate Club, athletics, and University staff, students, business vendors and all donors and stakeholders.
  • Abide by all written policies and procedures of ECU, the Department of Athletics, The Educational Foundation (Pirate Club), the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and all applicable conferences or associations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Nights, weekends, holidays, extended hours, and travel are required in the performance of duties.

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifying degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions and conferred by the time of hire.
