Anna Maria College, Head Coach

Anna Maria College, located in Paxton, MA seeks a full-time (10-months) professional, responsible for the conduct of all aspects of the women’s lacrosse program. The head coach will be responsible for all aspects of the program including leading student-athletes in intercollegiate competition, practice planning and coaching, recruitment and retention of talented student-athletes., scheduling, budgeting, team travel, team management, enhancement of academic success, campus conduct and personal development of student-athletes and supervision of an assistant coach(es).

Additional responsibilities include supporting the field hockey head coach with recruiting. Additional athletic department responsibilities will be determined based on experience and interests. The position reports to the Director of Athletics.

Anna Maria College is a residential, private, catholic, co-educational institution committed to excellence and competes in the NCAA Division III and the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). In 2025-2026 Anna Maria will be a member of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference  (MASCAC).

Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience and bachelor’s degree are required. Anna Maria College offers a competitive salary and benefits package. About the GNAC (Great Northeast Athletic Conference)

Anna Maria joined the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) in 2011. The GNAC is an NCAA Division III association made up of 16 member institutions and over 3,000 student-athletes across the New England region. Founded in 1995, the GNAC annually sponsors and administers 20 championships, while balancing academic integrity, athletic opportunity and community involvement in an effort to enhance the student-athlete experience. 

About the MASCAC (Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference)
The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) is an intercollegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division III. Full member institutions are all located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with some affiliate members also located in Connecticut and New Hampshire.

All full members are a part of the Massachusetts State Universities system (every member in the Massachusetts State Universities system except the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is also a MASCAC member) and the public associate members are part of the University of Massachusetts System [UMASS System (UMASS Dartmouth)], the University System of New Hampshire (Plymouth State University), and the Connecticut State University System (Western Connecticut State University) respectively. The rest of the associate members are private colleges.

On October 5, 2023, it was announced that in the 2025–26 school year, Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts will become the first private full member in the 53-year history of the MASCAC and the first new full member since 1974.
