Held at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the IWLCA New England Cup hosted a growing number of participants this year. With 165 teams, 2,631 prospective athletes were in action as 196 member coaches watched in search of new and exciting talent from a pool of eager young players.

"It's been a pleasure to see this tournament's growth year to year," stated Caitlin Schmeltz, Director of Lacrosse at Elite Tournaments. "We saw an increased volume of coaches on the sidelines, and several new teams excited to compete and show what they got!"

This year, seventy-three officials conducted 326 games across 15 fields, while 30 states and Canada were represented throughout the three-day event.

Prior to Saturday's start, athletes had an opportunity to attend the IWLCA Experience Clinic presented by Nike Lacrosse Friday night. The participants had a chance to learn from over a dozen college coaches while preparing for the weekend's events. The IWLCA Experience is a series of comprehensive learning and exposure events geared towards empowering the player and growing the game through positive player and coach interactions.
