2023 ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll – March 6
After a dominant 16-5 win over Boston College last Friday, the Tar Heels earned 23 first-place votes in Week 4 of the ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll.
Syracuse and Northwestern followed again in the second and third spots respectively, while Stony Brook jumped two spots to fourth. Boston College dropped to fifth.
Other significant jumps inside the Top 10 include No. 6 Denver shifting up three spots and No. 8 James Madison jumping four after both teams beat Maryland this week. The Terps dropped six spots into the 11th-ranked position.
The ILWomen/IWLCA Poll will be unveiled Mondays throughout the season. It is voted on jointly by coaches throughout the country and members of the media.
