2023 ILWomen/IWLCA Division III Poll – Preseason
Middlebury College is atop the DIII poll once again to start the 2023 season.
The 2022 National Champions earned 36 first-place votes in the ILWomen/IWLCA DIII Poll, while second-ranked Tufts earned one.
The Panthers return the IWLCA National Player of the Year in Jane Earley along with All-Americans Erica Barr and Hope Shue in the hunt to win back-to-back titles this spring.
The Jumbos, who fell to Middlebury 13-5 in the championship game, return All-American Maggie Carden to lead Tufts in 2023.
TCNJ, Salisbury, and Gettysburg round out the top five in the division.
The ILWomen/IWLCA Poll will be unveiled Mondays throughout the season beginning Monday, February 27. It is voted on jointly by coaches throughout the country and members of the media.
