IWLCA Renews Partnership with StringKing

The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) is pleased to announce it has renewed its official partnership agreement with StringKing. Additionally, StringKing will remain the presenting sponsor of the 2022 IWLCA Convention, scheduled for November 16-18, 2022, at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX.

“StringKing has proven to believe in the value of our coaches and the growth of collegiate women’s lacrosse programs.” said Liz Robertshaw, IWLCA Executive Director. “Their passion and expertise in lacrosse is vital to helping our coaches find success both on the playing field and in their professional lives through the IWLCA Convention. We appreciate StringKing’s support of women’s lacrosse and the IWLCA.

The 2021 IWLCA Convention successfully welcomed more than 750 coaches, officials and guests to the Hilton Anatole. The Convention is the largest gathering of collegiate women’s lacrosse in the country and showcases an impressive lineup of exhibitors aimed at helping collegiate programs.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding our partnership with the IWLCA. At StringKing, our goal since day one has been to make the best products in the game accessible to as many people as possible,” explained Matt Schuler, Partner and Sales Director for StringKing. “Working with the IWLCA allows us to align our passion with their mission: to cultivate the growth of and promote excellence in intercollegiate women’s lacrosse. The IWLCA Convention is the perfect opportunity for us to experience the wealth of knowledge and depth of passion for the game. It has been an invaluable source of information and inspiration for us as we continue to expand further into women’s lacrosse. We couldn’t be more excited to work with and, more importantly, learn from the IWLCA this year.”

StringKing Account Manager Katy Sharretts also weighed in on her future with StringKing and the impact the organization continues to have on the game of women’s lacrosse. “On behalf of Madi DeVries and I, we are excited to be the first women’s lacrosse account managers that are actually women! It’s monumental for StringKing, the IWLCA, and women’s lacrosse as a whole. Having both played collegiate lacrosse, we are eager to produce the most effective products. We are dedicated to hearing coaches’ ideas and actually making them happen!”

StringKing remains an industry leader in position-specific lacrosse sticks, custom fit apparel, and was the first company to create a full-mesh pocket for women’s lacrosse. In 2020, StringKing shifted into producing much needed PPE for companies combatting the COVID-19 pandemic. StringKing offers a full line of high-performance women's lacrosse products, including sticks, heads, shafts, stringing supplies, and other accessories.
