2022 ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll – February 28
The top three spots in the Week 3 ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Poll remain unchanged once again. Boston College moved to 5-0 this spring with convincing wins against No. 13 Virginia and Brown. North Carolina defeated tallied wins against Pitt and Jacksonville.
No. 3 Syracuse remained unbeaten after escaping South Bend with a 17-16 overtime win thanks to Meaghan Tyrrell’s game winner.
Maryland slid into the fourth spot for the first time this spring after a convincing 18-8 victory over No. 11 Florida. Aurora Cordingley had a career-high 10 points in the win.
No. 23 Richmond defeated No. 25 Stanford on Friday in a tight 11-10 matchup, a victory that lifted the Spiders into the Top 25 for the first time this spring.
Other significant advances up the ranks include No. 16 Vanderbilt, which was previously in the 22nd slot, and No. 20 Johns Hopkins, who jumped four spots after its 10-8 victory against No. 24 Penn.
