Virginia Tech, Director of Operations (P/T)

The Director of Operations for Virginia Tech Lacrosse will assist in managing the daily operations of the Women's Lacrosse program.

Job Description

Responsibilities include and not limited to supervising travel (for both the team and staff); assist with the daily schedule of coaches and team; coordinate recruiting; plan special events; serve as game day operations liaison; assist with camps and clinics; handle numerous administrative responsibilities. This position reports directly to the Head Coach of Women's Lacrosse, Kristen Skiera.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree and/or bachelor's degree with related experience.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
  • Experience in planning athletic team travel.
  • Experience working with a diverse group of coaches, staff, and/or student athletes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Division I "Power 5" athletic department lacrosse program.
  • Experience as a collegiate coach and/or student athlete.
  • Working knowledge of recruiting software.
  • Experience with ARMS workflow software.

Salary Information

  • Commensurate with experience.
