Nichols College, Graduate Assistant

Nichols College Women’s Lacrosse is looking to fill the position of Graduate Assistant/Coach for the 21-22 term.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assisting in recruiting and retaining qualified student-athletes,  and assisting with all aspects of coaching, planning, day-to-day office operations     , administrative tasks including team practice, player evaluation and development, academic monitoring of student athletes, scouting, game plans, and travel competitions. Other responsibilities include assisting with the coordination of the department's community service program and varied duties as assigned by the head coach.

Secondary Duties

There are secondary duties required including Front Desk Duty, and Game Management of team events.

Physical Components

You will be required to carry heavy boxes, or lacrosse goals at certain times. You will need to be able to actively participate in practices by running and monitoring individual, and team drills.



Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree at the time of appointment. Candidates that have a desire to coach College Lacrosse as a profession will be considered first. College playing experience is not required, but preferred. Knowledge of NCAA rules, excellent communication and organizational skills also preferred.
