Regis University, Graduate Assistant

Regis University, a member of the NCAA DII and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, seeks a graduate assistant to work in conjunction with the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and assist with all activities associated with the team starting Fall of 2021. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to assisting the coaching staff with the overall operation of planning practices and competitions, assisting with the recruiting activity, planning team travel, assisting with gear orders, assisting with the training and instruction of student-athletes, and organization of other team operations. Specific job responsibilities for the Graduate Assistant position will be outlined further during the interview process.

The preferred candidate will have demonstrated success and knowledge in playing lacrosse at the collegiate level; recruiting; strong knowledge of NCAA rules; and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include coaching, recruiting, instructing, advising, counseling and other administrative and teaching duties as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Acceptance to the Regis University graduate program.
  • College lacrosse experience 

Consideration for the position is contingent upon successful admission to a Regis University’s master’s program. Interested candidates are encouraged to begin the admissions application immediately. The admissions process for Regis’ graduate programs is completely separate from the application for this position. This position, available beginning Fall 2021 will require weekend and evening work, including team travel.
