DePauw University, Assistant Coach (F/T)

DePauw University is accepting applications for an assistant coach for women's lacrosse. This is a full time position (10-month appointment) and includes benefits. DePauw University is an NCAA Division III Institution competing in the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Head Coach Anne Moelk was recently appointed to the World Lacrosse's newly-formed Women in Sport Commission; she is one of two individuals representing the United States.

This position is an excellent position to gain hands on coaching experience and experience all facets of collegiate coaching. The assistant coach will gain experience in all facets of program management including recruiting, practice and game preparation, student-athlete development, and administrative responsibilities related to running successful programs. There will be a secondary assignment within the athletics department.

  • Bachelor's Degree required. 
  • Collegiate playing experience in women's lacrosse is highly desirable.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Previous lacrosse coaching experience (any level) preferred. 
  • Candidates must have demonstrated organizational and time-management skills. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. 
  • Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive on behalf of the University. 
  • Current certification in first aid, CPR and AED is required and must be maintained throughout their appointment with DePauw University.
