Liz Robertshaw, Executive Director of the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), announced today that the IWLCA has entered into an exclusive long-term relationship with SportsRecruits to launch a suite of integrated technology products to coordinate and simplify the recruiting process for players, parents, club organizations, and college coaches.

“The IWLCA is always looking to enhance the recruiting experience for both student-athletes and our membership base of over 1,200 college coaches,” said Robertshaw. “This past summer has shown the need for a presence in the digital space and we are excited to work with SportsRecruits to launch IWLCARecruits, a digital platform that will assist student-athletes in finding the right fit to continue their academic and athletic careers. For our members, IWLCARecruits will serve as a comprehensive tool allowing them access to integrated technology that connects their video and on-site event evaluations to a complete player database.”

IWLCARecruits will provide every prospective student-athlete, including those competing in IWLCA Tournament Series events, with a player profile. This profile will include contact information, academic data, upcoming event schedule, and video capabilities. At events, college coaches use EventBeacon for digital player evaluations and those evaluations will be able to sync with player profiles on IWLCARecruits, allowing coaches to seamlessly discover, track, and recruit student-athletes who are a fit for their program.

“Since 2008, we have been true to our mission of empowering student-athletes to pursue their dreams,” said Chris Meade, Co-Founder, and Co-CEO of SportsRecruits. “With IWLCARecruits, student-athletes only need to maintain their contact information, academic information, video, and other related recruiting materials on one platform. Aside from the obvious privacy benefits, college coaches will be able to find student-athletes that meet their criteria. In 2020 and beyond, college coaches should have all the information they need to evaluate a student-athlete at their fingertips on demand.”

IWLCARecruits will house game film from all IWLCA Tournament Series events along with a suite of online tools to streamline the college search and recruiting process for student-athletes.
