Final 2020 IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll
Middlebury College (3-0) finishes the shortened 2020 season as the top team in the final Division III Coaches Poll by a unanimous vote. The top ten teams remained the same as in the March 9 poll and remained in the same position. Tufts (3-0), Franklin & Marshall (4-0), Washington and Lee (5-1), and Wesleyan (4-0) join the Panthers in the top five. Gettysburg (4-1), Salisbury (3-2), York (4-1), Amherst (4-1), and Catholic (3-0) finish the 2020 season in the top ten.
There was no movement in the top half of the poll, and very little movement in the back half; Geneseo (4-1) and Pomona Pitzer (7-0) each moved up two spots, and several other found themselves ranked a spot higher. There were a minimal number of games played last week before the NCAA announced on March 12 that it would cancel the 2020 spring sports championships due to the COVID-19 public health threat.
