New England College, Graduate Assistant

The New England College women’s lacrosse program is seeking a highly motivated individual for a graduate assistant position starting in the fall of 2020. This is a two-year position while earning a Masters degree in one of the available programs. The college is a Division III institution located in Henniker, NH and is a member of the New England Collegiate Conference.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with all aspects of recruiting academically and athletically excellent student-athletes including attending recruiting events, high school games, meeting with prospects on campus, making recruiting calls, etc.
  • Assist in all aspects of coaching including practice planning, game film breakdown, holding individual skill/fitness sessions, etc.
  • Assist in all aspects of program planning including spring training trips, road trips, prospect days, prospective student-athlete visits, team bonding activities, etc.
  • Ability to mentor student-athletes academically, run weekly academic meetings/study halls

Qualified applicants will have completed a bachelor’s degree, have the desire to pursue the profession of coaching or a sports related career, and have knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules of the college, NECC, and NCAA. In addition, applicants must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass an MVR check.
