This is a full-time, twelve month position that assists the head coach in the planning, practice and game scheduling, and coaching of the women’s lacrosse team while adhering to Pennsylvania State Athletic Association (PSAC) and NCAA regulations. Instruction will consist of 51% of the position time, while 39% will be dedicated to other essential functions of the assistant lacrosse coaching position. The other 10% will be related to managing football and basketball ticket sales. Benefits include housing. Must be able to support and promote the University’s Mission.
Education: A bachelor’s degree; working knowledge of PSAC and NCAA regulations. Must be able to pass the NCAA recruiting/education module on an annual basis.
Experience: Collegiate coaching or playing experience, with an ability to recruit.
Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated organizational and time management skills; and the ability to effectively teach and coach lacrosse skills and strategy. Must possess basic accounting skills.
Certifications and Licenses: A valid driver’s license with a good driving history is required.
