You enjoy working with ambitious athletes and you can enable them to step out of their comfort zone? You like to develop teams that strive for a common goal and you don’t fear to live through emotional ups and downs? HLC Munich’s women’s A-Team is looking for a new coach to once again defend their German Champion title.

What you can expect

  • Season lasting from September to June
  • A team that comprises individual skills and working team systems
  • A team made of different characters and player types, working as a unit
  • Players who strive to becoming better athletes every day and thus spend extra time outside of practices on fitness and individual skills
  • Support from captains and experienced players in finding your way in the new role
    • on relocation from abroad: paid German language course, support in finding a job and an accommodation
    • on German lacrosse culture
  • If wished: regular meetings with captains on team tactics
  • Emotion in every way, ups and downs during the season, i.e. an exciting job for you as a coach
  • Allowance of EUR 200 per month, 12 salaries a year (basis for negotiation). Optionally, women’s B, C and youth teams can also be taken over for additional salary.

  • Women’s lacrosse know-how
  • Reliability for practices and games
  • Strategic thinking and planning talent
  • Agility and spontaneity on unexpected occurrences
  • Good gut-feeling for developments within the team and moderation of team talks
  • Ability to motivate, composure and mental endurance

  • Leading two practice times per week, two hours each
  • Preparation and wrap-up of practices and gamedays
  • Coaching at home and away games during the regular season (approx. 5 days in fall and 5 days in spring)
  • Coaching at friendly games, Czech-German Cup, Playoffs and German Championship (approx. 4 weekends in spring/summer)
  • Additional practice sessions to ensure the best preparation possible for the German Championship (number and duration dependent on progress of the team during the season, ultimately coach’s judgement)
  • Regular individual player feedback
