Offensive Player of the Week

Kenzie Kent – Boston College

Kent led Boston College to two wins last week, defeating both No. 5 Notre Dame and No. 13 Duke at home. The graduate student led all point-scorers in both matchups, posting six points against Notre Dame through two goals and four assists, along with two ground balls. Against Duke, Kent had three goals and five helpers, while adding five ground balls, three caused turnovers, and a draw control. Kent currently leads Division I in assists with 48 and is ranked fifth in total points with 74.

Defensive Player of the Week

Megan Taylor – Maryland

In Maryland's two top ten wins at #8 Virginia and against undefeated #7 Michigan, Taylor totaled 19 saves to only nine goals allowed, a .679 save percentage, while also tallying three groundballs. The senior backlined a Maryland defense that held two top ten opponents to under six goals, both the respective teams’ season lows. Taylor currently leads the country with a .614 save percentage, and in Big Ten play, she has posted a .762 save percentage and has held all four opponents to under six goals.

Offensive Player of the Week

Angela Deren - LIU Post

Deren totaled 12 points in the Pioneers two victories last week, combining for 11 assists and one goal. The junior attacker began the week with an ECC single-game season-high eight assists and also a caused turnover in a 19-1 win over Queens College and then added one goal and three assists in the Pioneers’ 18-17 win over #15 Mercy. Deren has accounted for 40 of the team’s 73 assists recorded this season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Samantha Keesey – Florida Southern

Florida Southern went 2-0 in league play last week, and Keesey won 13 draw controls, caused eight turnovers and picked up six ground balls while assisting on one goal. The senior defender helped anchor a defense that held #2 Rollins' top two scorers to season lows in goals in the 16-11 win. Against the Tars, Keesey won a season-high nine draw controls, caused a pair of turnovers and picked up two ground balls. She finished the week causing six turnovers, picking up four ground balls and winning four draw controls as the Mocs defeated Embry-Riddle 21-10.

Offensive Player of the Week

Emily Games – Tufts

Games netted 10 goals, won five draw controls, and dished out three assists in three Jumbo victories on the week. The junior opened the week with four goals, one assist, and three draw controls in a 21-13 NESCAC victory over Williams on Wednesday. She followed up that performance by scoring three goals and dishing out two assists in a 17-10 conference win over #9 Wesleyan. Games went 3-4 on free position shots against the Cardinals. The attacker ended the week by scoring three goals and caused three turnovers in a 24-10 victory against Babson.

Defensive Player of the Week

Emily Kitchin – Franklin & Marshall

Kitchin went 2-0 last week with 17 saves on the week. The freshman turned away nine shots and posted a 6.00 goals against average in F&M's 9-6 win over Gettysburg and had eight saves and three ground balls in a win over Bryn Mawr. Kitchin currently owns a .527 save percentage and a 7.20 goals against average.
