Wilson College, Head Coach and Coordinator of Recreation Programming (F/T)

Wilson College is seeking qualified and motivated applicants for the position of Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Coordinator of Recreation Programming.  The successful candidate will begin recruiting and planning immediately to build the program. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to recruit collegiate athletes, work with athletes of all skill levels, and strive toward conference competitiveness within an environment committed to academic success and ethical conduct. 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Prior Collegiate Coaching Experience in the sport preferred, Valid Driver’s License, CPR/1st Aid Certification, Clearances Required—Degree in a recreation-related field preferred.

Primary Job Duties: Head Coaches are responsible for all aspects of the varsity programs within NCAA Division III, conference (CSAC), college and sports-specific regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to, recruiting prospective student-athletes; scheduling and managing events; analyzing performance and instructing athletes in physical training; record/budget keeping; equipment inventory; attending department, conference, and college meetings (open house events); and other sport-related duties as assigned. The Coordinator of Recreation Programming will design, organize and direct all aspects of campus recreation programs, including intramurals. Duties include, but are not limited to coordinating and overseeing recreation and intramurals; collaborating with Offices of Student Development to maximize campus involvement and assessing student interest; maintaining records, budgets and program website; overseeing and supervising the use of recreation facilities.
