UIndy Climbs to No. 1 in Division II Poll
NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— The University of Indianapolis has ascended to the top of the Division II IWLCA Coaches Poll after a 10–6 victory over then-No. 1 Tampa in Saturday’s season opener for the Greyhounds. With the loss, the Spartans fall to No. 3.
Adelphi holds steady at No. 2 and will open its season tomorrow at Florida Tech.
Florida Southern and West Chester round out the Top 5.
Elsewhere in the rankings, Flagler makes a notable jump into the Top 10, moving to No. 8 after opening its season with a 4–0 start.
In total, 25 teams are represented in the poll, with voters—college coaches from across the nation—reflecting the latest results across women’s lacrosse. The rankings are based on weekly performances, with the poll set to be released each Monday throughout the season.
