IWLCA Players of the Week –March 24, 2026

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The IWLCA has chosen 11 student-athletes for the IWLCA Player of the Week awards for the week ending March 22, 2026. This weekly award recognizes the best offensive and defensive performances by players in Division I, II, III and the NAIA each week during the regular season.

Division I

Offensive Player of the Week
 Chloe Humphry—University of North Carolina

Humphrey delivered a career performance in No. 1 UNC’s 21–12 win over No. 16 Boston College, recording career highs with eight goals and 11 points while adding three assists. She scored her eight goals on 12 shots, showcasing her efficiency and scoring ability. For the season, Humphrey leads the nation with 5.11 goals per game (46 total) and 7.33 points per game (66 total). This is also Humphrey’s second IWLCA Player of the Week accolade this season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Ella Morton—Stanford University

Morton delivered a standout performance in her first collegiate start, making 14 saves on 25 shots to help Stanford improve to 10–0 with a 14–8 win over Arizona State. Her 14 saves are the most by a Cardinal goalkeeper in a first start since 2012 and could mark the highest total in program history for a debut. Morton recorded 10 of her saves in the second half, anchoring a defensive effort that held the Sun Devils to eight goals. She also added two ground balls in the victory.

Division II

Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Sadie Kauffman—East Stroudsburg University

Kauffman put together another dominant week as East Stroudsburg went 2-0 against Bloomsburg and Shippensburg. The sophomore recorded 11 goals, three assists, and 17 draw controls. Kauffman wasted no time on Wednesday in the Warriors' conference home opener against Bloomsburg, scoring the first goal of the game 11 seconds in. She'd go on to finish with four goals on seven shots with an assist and a season-high nine draw controls. Closing out the week against Shippensburg, she tallied seven more goals, a pair of assists, and eight draw controls. Kauffman's play charged a 15-0 run that spanned 28:24 of game time, scoring five of her goals and notching both of her assists during that stretch. She's helped lead the Warriors to the third-longest winning streak in program history, as ESU has started 9-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Tori Wanat—Ashland University

Wanat recorded seven goals, eight assists, 16 draw controls, five caused turnovers and five ground balls in two games. During the Eagles’ first-ever victory over Grand Valley State, Wanat found five goals, three assists and 14 draw controls. She also earned GMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for her efforts.

Defensive Player of the Week

Lauren Rochel—Bentley University

Rochel made 16 saves and had a .696 save percentage in Bentley's 14-7 win at Assumption. She added two ground balls as well. Rochel also played the second half of Bentley's shutout of Felician earlier in the week and made four saves.

Division III

Co-Offensive Player of the Week
 Tess Brown—Keene State College

Brown led the Owls’ attack with an impressive week, totaling 10 points on five goals and five assists. She scored efficiently, converting five of her nine shots for a 55.6% shooting percentage, and was responsible for over half (55.6%) of the team’s 18 goals during their 2–0 stretch.

Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Allie Shamberger—Roger Williams University

Shamberger delivered a standout performance against Johnson & Wales, recording a career-high 12 points. She tied her career-best with five goals and set a new personal record in assists during the game. Across two games, she totaled 19 points with seven goals and 12 assists for a strong offensive impact.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Iman Haddad—Washington and Lee University

Haddad played a key role in a major upset over No. 7 Gettysburg, recording an impressive 14 saves on 31 shots faced. She helped anchor a defensive effort that limited Gettysburg’s top attacker, All-American Julia Daly, to just one goal on six shots on goal. Haddad also delivered in a crucial late-game moment, making three consecutive saves during a woman-down defensive stand in the fourth quarter to help secure the victory.

Co-Defensive Player of the Week

Brookelyn Morrison—Christopher Newport University

Morrison anchored the Captains’ defense with a dominant week, recording eight caused turnovers, including five in a 13–12 road win over No. 6 York (Pa.). Her performance marked one of the top efforts against a ranked opponent in program history, with all five takeaways coming after her team took a 7–6 lead—four of them in the second half. Her final caused turnover came in the last minute of regulation, helping secure the win. She also added three caused turnovers in the win over Shenandoah, finishing the week with 10 total points. Morrison scored the go-ahead goal against York to break a 6–6 tie and converted both of her free-position attempts, extending her streak to 12 straight dating back to last season—the longest in program history. She was also honored as the C2C Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts.

NAIA

Offensive Player of the Week
 Ashlee Baker—University of the Cumberlands

Baker delivered a dominant week, totaling 22 points on 12 goals and 10 assists while leading the Patriots to a 3–0 record that included two top-10 wins. She opened with eight points (4 goals, 4 assists) in the win over No. 9 Missouri Baptist, then scored five of the team’s 10 goals in a 10–9 win over No. 3 SCAD. She closed the week with another 8-point performance (3 goals, 5 assists) in a conference-opening win over Truett McConnell University, also adding five ground balls.

Defensive Player of the Week

Koral Hadac—University of the Cumberlands

Hadac led the Patriots’ defense to a 3–0 week, playing a key role in holding each opponent to their lowest goal total of the season while securing two top-10 wins. She recorded four caused turnovers and three ground balls in the win over No. 9 Missouri Baptist, followed by three draw controls, three ground balls, and two caused turnovers against No. 3 SCAD. She added three ground balls and another caused turnover against TMU, while helping limit MBU and TMU to a 50% clear rate. This marks her second IWLCA Player of the Week honor this season.
