IWLCA Releases Week 5 Polls
IWLCA Division I Poll, Week 5
Maryland, Northwestern, Duke sit 1-2-3 in every vote

The top three schools, Maryland, Northwestern, and Duke all sit 1-2-3 in each voter’s ranking this week, keeping these three institutions as a solid block on top of the rankings. Penn State returns to the top-20, coming in at No. 16, as the rest of the poll shuffles after games from last week. Florida continues to climb, moving to a program-high No. 6 as the Gators are in their second year of competition.
The ACC again claims a record five schools, with four residing in the top seven. Maryland leads things off at No. 1, and Duke holds steady at No. 3 while North Carolina (No. 4) and Virginia (No. 7) both rise one spot; Boston College remains at No. 19.
The American Lacrosse Conference now has four schools in the rankings. Two of the ALC schools sit in the top six as Northwestern holds at No. 2 and Florida climbs to No. 6. Vanderbilt moves up two to sit at No. 13 while Penn State rejoins the rankings at No. 16.
The Big East and the Ivy Group both claim three schools each. Loyola leads the Big East at No. 5, up one spot from last week, while Syracuse (No. 14) and Georgetown (No. 17) both drop a couple notches. Penn is the highest-ranked Ivy at No. 8 while Princeton (No. 12) and Dartmouth (No. 18) both remain the same from the previous poll.
The CAA has two schools, with James Madison holding steady at No. 10 and William & Mary moving up one spot to No. 15. Stanford from the MPSF drops to No. 9, while Albany from the America East continued to rise, moving up again, this time landing at No. 11. Massachusetts from the Atlantic 10 held at No. 20.
On Wednesday March 30, No. 11 Albany travels to No. 19 Boston College. On Friday, the No. 1 Terps host the No. 8 Quakers. Saturday sees a trio of games, starting with the No. 2 Wildcats hosting the No. 3 Blue Devils in Evanston. No. 6 Florida travels to ALC-rival and poll newcomer, No. 16 Penn State and No. 7 Virginia goes to No. 19 Boston College in an ACC matchup.

IWLCA Division II Poll, Week 5
Panthers reclaim all ten first-place votes

The Adelphi Panthers reclaimed all ten first-place votes as they remain on top of the rankings this week. The same ten schools stay in the poll from last week, with the top four schools holding steady.
The PSAC continues to lead all conferences with four schools, as Lock Haven holds at No. 2 while West Chester (No. 7) and Mercyhurst (No. 8) swap spots. Gannon remains in the poll at No. 10. The Northeast-10’s three schools are led by top-ranked Adelphi; Le Moyne (No. 4) and Stonehill (No. 6) stand pat.
Three conferences each claim one school. Limestone from the Conference Carolinas stays at No. 3 while C. W. Post (No. 5) hails from the ECC. Rollins, who competes as an independent, rises one spot to No. 9
The top-ranked Panthers host Merrimack, who is receiving votes again this week, on Wednesday. On Friday, No. 9 Rollins travels to face No. 2 Lock Haven. The Warriors of Merrimack then face No. 4 LeMoyne on Saturday.

IWLCA Division III Poll, Week 5
TCNJ returns to the top spot; three schools claim No. 1 votes

The Lions of TCNJ ascend to the top spot of the rankings, jumping up two spots after a number of ranked teams shifted in the poll this week. Three different institutions picked up No. 1 votes, including top-ranked TCNJ, second-ranked and former No. 1 Salisbury, and Franklin & Marshall, who upset Salisbury last week. In addition, Elizabethtown joins the poll for the first time this season.
For a sixth poll this season, the NESCAC boasts a record seven schools. Trinity leads the conference, sitting at a season-high No. 4, while Colby also sits in the top-10 at No. 8. Tufts (No. 11), Middlebury (No. 12), and Williams (No. 13) lead off the second half of the poll; Bowdoin holds at No. 15 while Amherst moves to No. 18.
Four conferences are each represented by two schools. The Centennial Conference’s two schools, Gettysburg (No. 6) and Franklin & Marshall (No. 7) both sit in the top-10. Salisbury (No. 2) and Mary Washington (No. 17) represent the Capital Athletic Conference while Stevens (No. 9) and St. John Fisher (No. 19) are both members of the Empire 8. With Elizabethtown’s entry at No. 20, the Middle Atlantic Conference claims both the Blue Jays and No. 16 Messiah.
Five leagues are each represented by one school, including the NJAC, the SUNYAC, the ODAC, the Landmark, and the MAC. New No. 1 TCNJ represents the NJAC; Hamilton from the Liberty League moves to No. 3. Cortland from the SUNYAC moves up three spots to sit at No. 5. Catholic from the Landmark moves into the top-10 at No. 10. The ODAC’s Washington & Lee holds at No. 14.
The week starts with No. 10 Catholic traveling to Mary Washington on Monday. On Tuesday the No. Stevens Ducks host No. Middlebury. The Panthers turn around and face Catholic on the road on Thursday. On Friday, the new NO. 1 team, TCNJ, travels to face No. 6 Gettysburg. Saturday sees the Panthers face their third consecutive ranked opponent when they travel to face Colby; NESCAC rivals Trinity and Williams draw in Williamstown.
