2017 IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll – May 1, 2017

 

The College of New Jersey (13-1) remains in the top spot in the IWLCA Division III coaches poll this week, collecting 17 first place votes. Washington and Lee (14-1) and Gettysburg (15-2) stayed put in the second and third position, while Messiah (13-2), Colby (13-3), Middlebury (13-3), William Smith (16-1), and Hamilton (12-4) all move up one spot after York (14-3) tumbles to #9. Franklin & Marshall (14-4) locked down the #10 spot again, while the bottom half of the poll contains the same teams, but features a shuffled order.

The NESCAC tournament continues next weekend with #5 Colby facing #6 Middlebury and #8 Hamilton taking on #12 Trinity in the semi-finals. Brockport (#16) and #19 Cortland will both compete in the SUNYAC tournament, and #3 Gettysburg and #10 Franklin & Marshall both appear in the Centennial Conference tournament, while #2 Washington and Lee (ODAC), #13 Ithaca (Empire 8), #7 William Smith (Liberty), and #14 Catholic (Landmark) will all vie for their respective conference championships this weekend.
