2017 IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll – April 24, 2017

The College of New Jersey (11-1) held onto their #1 ranking by collecting 16 first-place votes in the IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll. Washington and Lee (12-1) and Gettysburg (13-2) each grabbed two first place votes to land in the second and third position, while York (14-2) moved up to #4 and Messiah (12-2) earned their first top-five ranking of the season. Colby (11-3), Middlebury (11-3), William Smith (14-1), Hamilton (11-4), and Franklin & Marshall (12-4) rounded out the top ten.

Big games this week include #18 Cortland at #19 Brockport on Tuesday, and #16 Bowdoin at #20 Tufts on Wednesday. Some Division III Conference tournaments get underway this weekend: #4 York faces #13 Salisbury in the CAC Tournament on Saturday, and we will also see some interesting match-ups in the NESCAC tournament, as that conference has seven top-twenty teams, however, most of the seeds will not be determined until the regular season concludes on Wednesday.
