2017 IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll – April 17, 2017

The College of New Jersey (9-1) made it two weeks in a row at number one in this week’s IWLCA Division III Coaches Poll, grabbing 15 of 20 first-place votes. Washington and Lee (10-1) and Gettysburg (11-2) retained their hold on the second and third position, while Middlebury (10-2) and York (13-2) jump into the top five. Trinity, William Smith, Messiah, and Franklin & Marshall are joined in the top ten by Colby (9-3), who vaults up from last week’s number 16 ranking. The back half of the poll saw quite a bit of shuffling, but only one new entry, as Wesleyan (9-4) checks in at #20 after receiving votes last week.

Ithaca (#12) and #11 Hamilton kick off this week’s top twenty action on Wednesday, but the bulk of the big games take place this weekend: #4 Middlebury travels to Maine to face #10 Colby, Trinity (#6) hosts #11 Hamilton, Wesleyan (#20) visits #18 Tufts, and #5 York and #13 Salisbury are competing in the CAC Tournament.
