2017 IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll – April 17, 2017

 

Adelphi University (12-0) took the top spot in the IWLCA Division II Coaches poll this week, collecting 17 of 20 first place votes. The only two other undefeated teams, Lindenwood (15-0) and Le Moyne (12-0), sit in the #2 and #3 spots, followed by Florida Southern (16-2), LIU Post (9-2) to round out the top five. New Haven (9-2) jumps into the top ten for the first time this year, and East Stroudsburg (11-2) enters the top 20 at #17 after receiving votes last week.

This week starts off with a bang, as #8 Queens and #2 Lindenwood kick things off on Monday, followed by Mercyhurst (#14) versus #19 Indiana, #1 Adelphi at Le Moyne (#3), and #11 Pace and New Haven (#10) on Tuesday. New Haven is back in action when the Chargers travel to Long Island to face #5 LIU Post and #6 Rollins tangles with #9 Florida Tech on Thursday, and the action continues over the weekend, as top match-ups include #7 Limestone hosting Florida Southern (#4), New York Tech (#13) at Stonehill (#18), and Seton Hill (RV) facing #12 West Chester.
