2017 IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll – March 6, 2017

 

The top six spots in the IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll remain unchanged as the University of Maryland (4-0) locked up all 20 first place votes in week three of the regular season. North Carolina (5-1), Florida (3-1), USC (3-1), Syracuse (7-0), and Penn State (6-0) all held their positions, while Stony Brook (4-0) and Notre Dame (7-1) switched spots at the number seven and eight positions. Princeton (4-0) moves up to number nine, and Colorado (6-0) claims the tenth spot, while the bottom half of the poll was shaken up a bit during the past week. Virginia Tech (7-2) makes it 2017 debut in the poll at #20 after defeating Duke 11-6 last week.

This week’s big match-ups include #5 Syracuse at #1 Maryland, Florida (#3) hosting #7 Stony Brook, and Notre Dame (#8) at Princeton (#9), and #13 Duke at Louisville (RV) all on Saturday, while #6 Penn State hosts both James Madison (#18) and Colorado (#10) this week.
