The 2016 IWLCA Brine President's Cup presented by New Balance was an unmitigated success. Buoyed by the picture perfect Florida weather, the tournament was well received by participants, coaches, and officials.

287 teams played 582 games over the course of the three day event. It took 129 officials to cover all the action at the two venues, Disney's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and the Lake Myrtle Sports Park.

Charlotte Spencer, a senior from Celebration High School who plays on the Dodger club team said, "The President's Cup is the only fall tournament where you can play the best teams from all over the country in an environment that provides exposure to hundreds of college coaches so you can showcase your talents and get recruited."

The most important number to most everyone was amount of coaches in attendance. There were 631 coaches representing 361 different colleges at the tournament. Stanford head coach Amy Bokker explained the appeal of the tournament:

"We were really excited to attend the President's Cup tournament. The facilities are amazing and we are certainly playing in great Florida weather, which promotes a high level of competition. The venues make it easy for us to get around to the areas they have set up for coaches so that we can stay focused and do our job while we're here."

The 2017 President's IWLCA Brine President's Cup presented by New Balance will return to central Florida next year and run from November 17-19, 2017.
