2016 IWLCA Division II Poll – May 9, 2016
Adelphi University claimed the 2016 Northeast-10 Championship, pushed its record to 19-0, earned the North Region’s number one seed in the NCAA Tournament, and is the unanimous number one in the IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll this week. The Panthers automatically move to the second round and will face the winner of the #9 Dowling/#10 Grand Valley State first-round matchup. #2 LeMoyne earned the second seed in the North and will face the winner of the #5 LIU Post/#11 New Haven game. Florida Southern (16-3) claimed the top seed in the South Region and awaits the winner of Rollins (#7) versus West Chester (#8) in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Fourth-ranked Lindenwood claimed the second seed in the South and will square off against the winner of the game between #6 Mercyhurst and #13 Queens (NC).
