2016 IWLCA Division I Final Poll – May 31, 2016

After capturing their second NCAA Championship in the past four years, the University of North Carolina (20-2) took over the top spot in the final IWLCA Division I Coaches Poll, claiming all 20 available first place votes. The Tar Heels took down Maryland (22-1) in the Championship game on Sunday, knocking the Terps out of the top spot for the first time this season. After returning to the semi-finals for the first time since 1999, Penn State (14-7) made a big jump in the final poll, landing in the fourth position, while Penn climbed to #9.
