IWLCA Partners with LSN to Produce Weekly Lacrosse Show

The IWLCA announced a partnership with Lax Sports Network (LSN) to produce Fast Break: IWLCA College Lacrosse Weekly, a weekly magazine program streaming Wednesdays at 7:30 pm ET beginning March 16th through June 1, 2016. Lax Sports Network is a 24-hour digital sports network dedicated to the sport of lacrosse.

“Lax Sports Network appreciates the vision and passion set forth by the IWLCA,” said Rob Wallace, COO, Lax Sports Network.  “Fast Break:  IWLCA College Lacrosse Weekly provides our talented producers and personalities the access to develop a product that will put the faces of the women’s game today in a key position as an important part of our strong college magazine programming lineup, which includes, ‘DI Digest’, ‘DII Digest’ & ‘DIII Digest’.”

“We are very excited about the opportunity to work with Lax Sports Network to present a weekly show focused on the women’s collegiate game,” said Alicia Groveston, President of the IWLCA and head coach at Grand Valley State University. “Our mission is to grow the game and to promote excellence in women’s collegiate lacrosse, and we believe that Fast Break: IWLCA College Lacrosse Weekly will help us fulfill our mission by providing access to the highest levels of the game to subscribers across the country.”

Fast Break: IWLCA College Lacrosse Weekly will feature the official IWLCA weekly divisional polls, as voted upon by the coaches; highlights from NCAA games; access to coaches and players; as well as features telling the stories which are shaping the growth and popularity within the women’s game. The show will also name weekly women’s players of the week for all three divisions.
