A Great Day of Competition for the North-South All Stars
On Saturday, June 12, 2010, the IWLCA 2010 Division I, II & III North-South All Stars held their annual contests at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA. The games were held in conjunction with the IWLCA Champions Cup recruiting tournament.
In the first game of the day, the Division I South All Stars defeated the North All Stars 7-4. Senior Defender, Barbara Seaman of the University of Pennsylvania was named the Most Valuable Player of the game.
Game two pitted the Division II All Stars with the North topping the South 12-5 with Caitlin Fitzpatrick, top Goalkeeper from Adelphia University earning the Most Valuable Player award.
In the last game of the day, the Division III South All Stars game away with a 16-8 victory over the North squad. Gettysburg's senior attacker Nina Emala came away with the Most Valuable Player honor.
